World Cup inspires BenQ to brand new heights Announcing BenQ's sponsorship of South Melbourne Football Club

It could well become a tradition for BenQ, for aligning their brand with one of the world’s most loved sports is not foreign territory.  BenQ, albeit some years ago, were once the main sponsors of legendary renowned Club, Real Madrid in Spain.  
 
This time it’s BenQ Australia that has secured a deal with South Melbourne Football Club (SMFC) to be their Principal Partner for the 2014 NPL Victoria Season.
 
With SMFC currently on top of the NLP Ladder, the sponsorship provides BenQ with an opportunity to reach its core target market in a World Cup year when the sport is at premium saturation. 
 
A club with a proud history spanning back more than sixty years, SMFC issued a statement saying that BenQ was the second multinational partner to support them, and that they felt the partnership of a global brand like BenQ clearly demonstrated the growth of their corporate base over the past two years.
